On the Wishlist: Proenza Schouler

This Sunday on the wish list is this beautiful bag from Proenza Schouler. Lately I am a bit obsessed with the combination of black and white and this gorgeous bag would perfectly complement my Style at the moment! It is the PS1 Medium from the Pre-Spring 2015 Collection in wood block print. On the front is a separate compartment with a zip pocket. The PS1 is certainly one of my favourite bags and perhaps 2015 will be the year that I will purchase one... Let´s see!

Coolest Apartment Ever

Is this the coolest apartment ever or what! Look at that massive clock, I love it! It reminds me of the apartment of James Gordon from Gotham. It happens so that this apartment is on the market for 21 months with a price tag of 18 million dollar... For that money you have the most gorgeous view on the financial district of Manhattan! Not only will you have your private elevator, 3 bedrooms, ceilings of 15 meter high but as well a terrace... What else do you need? Happy Monday everyone!

Random Inspiration

Finally the weekend is here! Do you have any plans yet? It is the last weekend for Christmas so I bet most of you are shopping around. I am happy that I've got some free time on my hands but the weather is not that great so I will probably spend some time (uhm hours...) on Pinterest, which is my ultimate inspiration source! I do miss New York so much and would love to visit this city in winter time and look at the perfect outfit of Rachel Bilson, so christmassy... Have a lovely weekend!

Wanting Wednesday: Maiyet

Ever heard of the fashion brand Maiyet? I was browsing on Net-A-Porter and stumbled upon a beautiful bag from this brand. After visiting their website I learned that this fashion brand celebrates rare artisnal skills from unexpected places. That sounds interesting!

Their collection is inspired by craftsmen from places such as India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Mongolia and Peru. Not only is Maiyet sourcing products and inspiration in these countries, they also set up training programs that allow its partners to create higher-quality, exceptional products and promote stability and prosperity in their communities.

I think this is a beautiful concept and I like how they work with local communities. There are so many skilled craftsmen around the world who do not get a chance to show their products and expertise. Not only are they designing bags, but as well jewelry and clothes, but you know me, I am definitely going for the bags. I am especially in love with no. 1 and 2. So beautiful!

Personalise your Clutch

I am a big fan of the clutches from Edie Parker. They are so unique, stylish and fun! Did you know you can also personalise your clutch? Nowadays, almost every brand offers to personalise your handbag, which I think is great! It gives a more unique feeling to your bag.

You can choose from the collection 'Bespoke' the model Flavia or Jean to personalise. Just choose the colour of the clutch, hardware, text and the font and there you go! Your unique clutch! Of course you can choose to put your name on the clutch, but ladies who want to stay anonymous can also go for a fun word.

To personalise the Flavia model will cost you 1795 and the Jean model costs 1595. Perhaps this one goes on the wishlisht ;)

Snapshots from Madrid

I recently visited Madrid for the weekend and it was amazing! I visited the city before and even studied there, so it was nice to go back! Stupid me forgot my camera so I had to take pictures with my phone, so don't mind the quality!

Back with a new Bag

After more than a month of radio silence I am back! I don't know what happened; busy with my job, no motivation, winter depression... Well anyway, I am back with showing you my new bag of Henri Bendel

I love this bag so much! The dark navy blue colour is gorgeous, the classy style and the fact that I could personalise the bag with my initials! I was doubting between this colour and a more light brown colour, but in the end I choose this one while I think it is more unique (and the fact that I already have too many light brown bags in my collection haha...).
Hope you guys are doing fine and let's stay in touch!

NYC Part 3: Central Park

I totally forgot I had these pictures! After a few shopping days, it was time to take a break from crowded shops, loud sirens and people bumping into each other at Times Square. Where better to relax than in Central Park! We bought some delicious bagels and snacks at Whole Foods Market and sat in the sun watching all kinds of people. Ooh I miss such days now that I am back to work.... Have a great day!

Taco's at Tacombi

Drop immediately what you are doing if you like taco's as much as I do. This is the best place in NYC to eat them! This restaurant, which actually is a garage, is called Tacombi at Fonda Nolita and the atmosphere is amazing. Everything from the VW van where they prepare the food, till the brick walls and it's paintings is phenomenal and I did not even mention the taste of the food! Delicious! I highly recommend this place if you are in this lovely neighbourhood!

NARS Beauty

In the NARS Cosmetics store on Bleecker Street I wanted to buy the most wanted blush ever; Orgasm. While browsing around, the lovely employee showed me this limited NARS Domination Cheek Palette and I was immediately sold. This four-pan cheek palette contains Orgasm blush, Laguna bronzer, Mistinguette blush and Devotee highlighting blush. I know that NARS combines orgasm and laguna more often in such palettes and therefore this cheek palette may not be really of interest for those who already have their share of NARS products, but for me, a NARS rookie, it is just perfect!

NYC Part 2: Brooklyn

This was the first time I visited Brooklyn. Although it was a short visit, I immediately loved this neighbourhood! It was so quite and peaceful, there were bikes and lot's of green. Next time I want to explore this area more. Lunch took place at Grimaldi's, the popular pizzaria where also Frank Sinatra was a regular customer. After a delicious pizza it was time to walk the Brooklyn Bridge which was shorter than I expected (luckily). It looks like the photo's of the Manhattan view are photoshopped, but this was the real view, I think because it could rain every moment. Of course I had to add a pic of NYC's most famous inhabitants; a squirl! haha
